Stuart Seaborn

Litigation Consultant

Stuart Seaborn comes to YLC as a litigation consultant after more than 25 years of practicing public interest law. Most of Stuart’s work has involved systemic civil rights litigation on behalf of groups of people with disabilities.  He has secured national precedents in the areas of voting rights, access to transportation, and access to public facilities, among several others.  Stuart was most recently the Managing Director for Litigation at Disability Rights Advocates, a national, non-profit disability rights law firm.  He has also worked as a solo civil rights litigator and started his legal career as a trial attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice.  Stuart has taught disability law as an adjunct professor at UC Law SF and UC Davis King Hall School of Law.  He received his law degree from UCLA in 1998 and his BA from UC Berkeley in 1995.  Stuart is a member of the California Bar.
