The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) oversees the Guaranteed Income (GI) Pilot Program and has prioritized pilots that will serve individuals in one or both of the two target populations: youth aging out of extended foster care at age 21 and pregnant individuals. iFoster will be administering the statewide GI Pilot Program for youth exiting extended foster care and the program will provide unconditional, individual, regular cash payments to selected youth. This alert was last updated in August 2024 following the release of All-County Information Notice (ACIN) I-60-23E, and it provides a brief overview of the program, including eligibility and how to apply.
