This training will explore the ways that attorneys can assist adults and minors to ensure care and support for minors who are unable to live with their parents. Our presenter, David White, Senior Staff Attorney at Legal Services for Children, will talk through the spectrum of caregiving arrangements from informal agreements to legal guardianship and dependency proceedings. This training will highlight the pros and cons of these types of arrangements and discuss how advocates can help families access more formal caregiving arrangements when appropriate.
1.5 hours of general MCLE credit will be available for California attorneys.
